Learn to connect with anyone in 2026
I get it, we make these bold plans and then life happens and nothing changes… health, career, social life… so much to deal with and so little time.
The good news is there is one thing you can focus on that will increase your results in pretty much every single area of your life: becoming more socially confident. It’s the most important thing for your longevity, your sense of well being, your career success, your happiness quotient.
Across the board, your ability to connect with others is your BIGGEST advantage in life.
Come check out our free workshop to help you get to know where to meet like minded people in the real world, exactly what you should say and how to keep the conversation going once you get it started.
My name is Devon Ash and I’ve been teaching this stuff for 18 years through my company www.socialfluency.com so the things I am going to be sharing are reality tested and proven, I’m not just going to be regurgitating something I read somewhere or advice that ai has generated by scraping the internet. This is the real deal!
Come join us and learn the art and science of powerful communication.

Location not specified yetA new format: you choose who you're interested in meeting

The event: Award-Winning Professors in a Bar
Every week, Brains and Barstools brings university professors and researchers into Toronto's best bars for one-night-only talks. Topics range across sciences and humanities - always intimate, always sold out.
45-minute lectures by award-winning professors. In a bar. Each talk transforms your local pub into an intellectual playground. Q&A gets lively - drinks help.
Your LYTT crew arrives early to grab drinks and warm up, then settles in for the talk together. Post-lecture discussions hit different when you've got people who actually want to debate the ideas. The whole experience runs about 2.5 hours.

The event: Bouldering Session at Toronto's Social Climbing Gym
Basecamp is where climbing gets social. Colorful holds on textured walls, crash pads below, and a vibe that says 'yeah, you can do this.' Over 100 routes across 7,000+ square feet mean there's always something new to try.
Your group meets up, grabs some chalk, and starts solving routes together. Some will fly up the wall, others will laugh at their first attempt. That's the point. Between climbs, you're swapping beta, cheering each other on, and realizing that falling is way more fun with friends watching. After, we grab drinks or food nearby. The whole experience runs about 2.5 hours.
