Tower Rock and Swiss Valley

Join us for a fun ride to Tower Rock Farmstead Bakery!

Two routes will be offered. You may choose either the 43- or 62-mile route. Both routes are identical up to Tower Rock Farmstead Bakery at the 15-mile mark. After the bakery, the routes split, with the longer route including a stop at Cedar Grove Cheese before rejoining with the shorter route that continues onto Swiss Valley Road and a stop at a convenience store, before returning through the Badger Army Ammunition Plant and finishing on the Great Sauk State Trail. The routes are on paved roads, although there are some short gravel sections through the Badger Army Ammunition Plant. There are a few challenging hills.

Please use the links above to print your own cue sheet and map. If you have a GPS, it is highly recommended to download the route to your GPS. Note: There will not be any maps or cue sheets handed out at the ride.

Trail Pass: A Wisconsin State Trail Pass is required to ride on the Great Sauk State Trail. All riders are encouraged to purchase their trail pass before our ride. Trail passes may be purchased online or at most Wisconsin bicycle shops.

Plan to arrive by 9:45 AM. We will push-off promptly at 10:00 AM.

Our specific meeting location is at Meyer Oak Grove Park in Sauk City. There is parking along Carolina Street near Sycamore Street. The ride will begin at the corner of Carolina Street and Sycamore Street. There may be a Farmer's Market at our meeting location, so please park further away from the Farmer's Market.
