**Join us for a fun ride on the Great Sauk State Trail!**

**Details:**

* **Meeting Place:** Near the intersection of Carolina Street and Sycamore Street, by Meyer Oak Grove Park in Sauk City.
* **Route:** 25-mile ride (round-trip distance) along the **[Great Sauk State Trail](https://www.greatsaukstatetrail.org/)**, including the section that was opened about a year ago and a bonus mile on the roads beyond the furthest end of the trail.
* **Ride With GPS Routes: [SC-012-GSST-Out](https://ridewithgps.com/routes/52437876); [SC-013-GSST-Return](https://ridewithgps.com/routes/52437905)** (If you have a GPS, it is highly recommended to download the routes to your GPS. **There will not be any maps or cue sheets handed out at the ride.)**
* **Tentative Plan/Pace:** Casual pace. Plan for 2 to 2.5 hours of riding.
* **Trail Pass:** A **[Wisconsin State Trail Pass](https://dnr.wisconsin.gov/topic/parks/admission/trailpass)** is required to ride on the Great Sauk State Trail. All riders are encouraged to purchase their trail pass before our ride. Trail passes may be purchased online or at most Wisconsin bicycle shops.
* **Before-Ride Picnic in the Park:** Join us for a Picnic in the Park before the ride. This is a bring-your-own picnic, so bring something from home or pick up something along the way. Note: Culver's is nearby, so that's an easy option. Suggested arrival time for the picnic is 12:00 noon.

**Plan to arrive by 12:30 PM. We will push-off promptly at 12:45 PM.**

Our specific meeting location is at Meyer Oak Grove Park in Sauk City. There is parking along Carolina Street near Sycamore Street. The ride will begin at the corner of Carolina Street and Sycamore Street.
