Join us for a scenic and moderately challenging hike through the beautiful Loew Lake Unit of the Kettle Moraine State Forest!

We’ll explore a mix of Ice Age Trail segments and horse trails, winding through wooded terrain and along the picturesque Oconomowoc River. This area offers a peaceful natural setting with rolling hills, so expect some elevation changes along the way.

Please note: These trails are shared with horseback riders, so we may encounter horses during the hike.

Distance: approximately 8 miles
Difficulty: Moderate (some hilly sections)

Bring water, wear sturdy footwear, and dress for the weather. This is a great opportunity to enjoy spring in one of Wisconsin’s most beautiful trail systems!
