Join us for a scenic spring hike through the southern end of the expansive Horicon Marsh, one of the largest freshwater cattail marshes in the United States, spanning over 33,000 acres. We’ll explore trails and marsh landscapes while enjoying wide-open views, birdlife, wetlands, and the peaceful beauty of this unique Wisconsin destination.

Distance: Approximately 6 miles
After the hike, anyone interested is invited to stay for a casual get-together on the Visitor Center patio overlooking the marsh. Bring a chair along with food and/or drinks if you’d like to relax and socialize after the hike while enjoying the beautiful view.
Detailed directions are available if preferred, but entering the Horicon Marsh Visitor’s Center into your GPS app should bring you directly to the meeting location.
Come prepared for spring trail conditions, and don’t forget water, layers, and binoculars if you enjoy birdwatching!
