This week’s North Shore/Ozaukee County Tuesday hike will explore the beautiful Cedar Lakes Conservation Foundation Nordic Trails near West Bend. We will meet Tuesday, May 19th at 9:00 AM at the Nordic Trails parking lot, 4214 Sleeping Dragon Rd., West Bend.
Our route will wind through a variety of scenic landscapes including hardwood forests, wetlands, prairies, kames, and moraines. Spring wildflowers are blooming, making this a wonderful time to enjoy the trails and changing season. Distance will be approximately 5 to 6 miles, with options to shorten the hike if needed.
Expect a mix of terrain with some gentle hills and natural trail surfaces. Bring water, dress for the weather, and prepare for a beautiful morning outdoors!
