This Week’s Tuesday North Shore Hike!

This week’s Tuesday North Shore Ozaukee County hike takes us along some of the most scenic stretches of the Lake Michigan shoreline in Mequon! Join us Tuesday, May 26th at 9:00 AM for a 6 to 8 mile hike with a shorter option available.

We will meet at Virmond Park, 10606 N Lake Shore Dr, Mequon. Please park near the tennis courts. Our route will explore Virmond Park, Donges Bay Gorge, Carpenter Park, and quiet nearby roads. Some park trails are unpaved and may be uneven in spots.

Expect fabulous views of Lake Michigan, wooded trails winding along the fairy chasms, and plenty of spring beauty along the way. There will also be an optional steep staircase down to the lake for those looking for a little extra adventure. Wear sturdy shoes, bring water, and dress for the weather.
