August 2015 - Never send a human to do a robot’s job

Details
Presentation:
Demonstrate how to use Go Continuous Delivery (github.com/gocd), an open source, language agnostic tool (originally developed by ThoughtWorks) that has to reap the benefits of repeatable, frequent deployments. Co-presented by Charlie Sweet and Adam Johnson, this session will teach you how we use Go for continuous delivery of our applications. We will also explore the technical benefits and limitations we have experienced using Go, and address how automated deployment mitigates risk so that people on call can sleep soundly at night.
