Presentation : Xamarin 101 – what you need to know to get started today

Do you have a great idea for an app? Want to wow your boss with a great mobile app for the company? Don’t want to learn java or obj-c/swift? Xamarin could be right for you! In this talk Chet will demonstrate the basics of Xamarin Forms as well as demonstrating 3 sample apps: Hello World, Tic-Tac-Toe, and an API-backed Food Tracker. In addition, Chet will provide a handy guide to go from idea to store.

Speaker: Chet Hartin

Chester (Chet) Hartin loves to code! It doesn’t matter if it’s for a TRS-80 or an iPhone Xs! Chet has architected and developed software for several fortune 500 companies – some of it that you may actually be using at home. From mobile/web apps to APIs/middleware and games – odds are he’s gotten his hands dirty in it.
