Presentation : How to build ASP.NET Core web sites: Secure and Scalable by default

Modern web sites and services are not the same as old style HTML pages with lots of blink and marquee tags; They are more sophisticated and complex to build and use. Attacks on these sites also getting more sophisticated. Even in 2020, building a secure and scalable service/site is hard, microservices architecture amplify this problem even more.

In this talk, we will explore how to use some of the advanced constructs of ASP.NET Core such as middlewares, filters and dependency injection to build secure and scalable sites with “good” defaults.. We will also explore patterns for overriding these defaults. At the end we will cover some techniques to build a boilerplate and how to distribute these middlewares across different projects.

This talk is aimed at intermediate and advanced ASP.NET developers.
