This serene outdoor sculpture garden by Isamu Noguchi symbolically represents California’s geography through stone, water, metal, and plants. Often called the “Noguchi Garden,” it features the striking centerpiece “Spirit of the Lima Bean” in honor of the region’s agricultural heritage. A true hidden gem amidst urban development, it offers time for reflection and conversation.

Orange County Museum of Art – Costa Mesa, CA

Located in the heart of the Segerstrom Center for the Arts campus, the Orange County Museum of Art (OCMA) offers contemporary art exhibitions in a strikingly modern space. Admission is free, but tickets should be reserved in advance on their website. Please take a look at OCMA’s website beforehand to see descriptions of the current exhibits.

Darya Restaurant – Santa Ana, CA
Arrival Time: Target 6:15 PM (subject to change depending on group pace at OCMA)
We’ll conclude with dinner at Darya Restaurant, known for its authentic Persian cuisine and elegant atmosphere. From flavorful kebabs to traditional stews and aromatic rice dishes, Darya provides a warm dining experience in a sophisticated setting. On select nights, live music enhances the ambiance for an evening of conversation and relaxation.

  • Punctuality Matters: Please arrive on time to keep the group coordinated across all stops.
  • Payment: Restaurants can only split checks into a maximum of five per table. Bring cash, or use Venmo or Zelle for easy sharing.
  • Parking: Parking and meetup details will be posted a few days before the event.
  • Game Plan: Dinner time is flexible and depends on how long we stay at OCMA. The full plan (including any dessert stop) will be shared closer to the date.
