Welcome to the first event in our Doers Club, a brand new series presented by Wisdom Tree Forum™!

Have you ever been curious about pottery? Maybe you've taken a class, watched videos, visited a ceramics studio, or simply admired handmade pottery and wondered how it's made. If you've created a piece of pottery yourself, or have a favorite piece at home, feel free to bring it along.

The goal of Doers Club is simple: to bring together people who are interested in exploring a skill, hobby, craft, or activity and learning from one another's experiences. You do not need to be an expert, actively practicing, or even have tried pottery before. Curiosity is enough.

This is not a hands-on pottery workshop. Rather, it is a community gathering for people who are curious about pottery or already enjoy it. Our goal is to exchange experiences, discover local resources and opportunities, share recommendations, and connect with others who appreciate the craft.

At this event, we'll explore questions such as:
🏺 What draws people to pottery?
🏺 What is the experience of creating something with your hands?
🏺 How difficult is it to get started?
🏺 What local studios, classes, resources, or communities are available?
🏺 What tools, equipment, or costs are involved?
🏺 What are some common beginner mistakes and lessons learned?
🏺 How has pottery enriched the lives of those who practice it?

Whether you're a complete beginner, someone considering taking a class, or an experienced potter willing to share insights, we'd love to hear your perspective.

This will be a relaxed and interactive discussion where members can exchange experiences, recommendations, inspiration, and appreciation for the craft. Think of it as a community exploration rather than a formal workshop.
Who knows? You may leave inspired to get your hands dirty and create your first piece of pottery.
Bring your curiosity, questions, and stories. We look forward to exploring pottery together!

About Doers Club
Doers Club is a Wisdom Tree Forum™ series dedicated to exploring hobbies, skills, crafts, and creative pursuits through conversation and shared experiences. We gather at parks, breweries, restaurants, cafés, and other local venues to learn from one another and discover new interests.
Each event focuses on a single hobby or skill. One month it might be pottery, another month journaling, astronomy, meditation, woodworking, gardening, photography, or even building an AI agent. The goal is not mastery, but exploration, appreciation, and connection with others who share your curiosity.
Come discover new passions, exchange ideas, and enrich your social experience.
