• Hidden Assumptions: Why do people often assume their interpretation of a partner’s behavior is the obvious or correct one?
• Same Words: Can two people use exactly the same words while meaning very different things?
• Understanding Differences: Does understanding why a partner sees something differently make it easier to accept the difference?
• Compatible Meanings: Do successful relationships require partners to share the same definitions, or simply understand each other’s?
