Retreat into Nature: Half Day Silence and Solitude
Royal Botanic Gardens, 100 Birdwood Avenue, Melbourne, AU### Take a Pause Before the Holiday Rush
The busy, crazy season is here! Feeling a bit overwhelmed and just trying to make it through?
Join Emma and Mabel from Whole Life Coaching for a free half-day retreat at the beautiful Royal Botanic Gardens.
We’ll slow down and embrace the peace and stillness of silence and solitude. It’s your chance to unplug, breathe, and reconnect with yourself and what's beyond you - Spirit, Divine and nature. Take this opportunity before diving into the end-of-year chaos, Christmas, and summer holidays.
After a quick introduction to the practise at our meeting point (see below) you'll be invited to find a spot to settle anywhere in the park, on your own!
Whether silence and solitude are completely new to you or already part of your rhythm, you’ll be warmly welcomed.
After we gather as a group, those who are comfortable are free to wander and find their own quiet space. If you’d prefer, you’re very welcome to stay within visual proximity of us or others — you won’t be alone unless you choose to be.
We’ll provide a simple guide with a few reflection prompts and gentle practices — use whatever speaks to you, and simply enjoy the time for yourself.
Afterwards, you’re invited to join us for an optional lunch at a nearby café. No pressure if you need to head off — this day is about what you need most.
✨ Spaces are limited, so RSVP now to save your spot.
Give yourself permission to pause — you deserve it.

Anchored and Aware for 2026: A Grounded Intention Retreat for Midlife Women
Location not specified yetOne of our real superpowers, as Psychology and Health Educators with over four decades of experience between us, is weaving threads of research, lived insight, and story into meaningful learning. This mini-retreat is designed to help you “set up your year well” in a way that honours both your hopes and the unknowns that lie ahead.
Across three gentle, intentional sessions, you’ll explore the season of life you’re currently in and craft a grounded, purposeful approach to 2026.
Together, we’ll draw on the framework of The Hero’s Journey (as recently unpacked by Dr Emily on The Imperfects) to map your story so far, clarify what’s truly yours to carry, and shape those insights into a clear North Star theme to guide your rhythms, decisions, and energy for the year ahead—whatever may come.
All key details are in the flyer for "Anchoring and Aware 2026".
At this stage, we’re gathering expressions of interest and preferred times and preference for online or in person.
- (Please note the current date and time listed is not accurate. The program is intended to run for approximately 3 x 2 hour sessions, or a one day session)
If this resonates, please register your interest so we can schedule the sessions in a way that works for those keen to join.
