This book is about how different cultures have created comfort and rituals to survive and even thrive during cold months that seem to go on forever. But it's also about the "winter" seasons of our lives when life knocks us down. It invites us to change how we relate to these "fallow" times of our lives and find nourishment in retreat and self care. It explains that life is cyclical, not linear, and offers ways in which we can transform hardships into enlightenment that sustains us through our journey of ups and downs.
This is the first of possibly two sessions to discuss this book. If you are interested please join us, even if you have not read the entire book. We will discuss October through December chapters this week.

PS - this is also posted on FB and there are FOUR of us attending so far.
