What we’re about

We are a group of weekend walkers who like to make friends and have fun, while being health conscious. We meet for weekend hikes / walks around western Atlanta on trails, e.g. Cochran Shoals, Paces Mill, Silver Comet, Heritage Park, Westside Resevoir Park, etc. These are all either flat walks or easy hikes and we typically go as a group, 2-3 MPH. We are not trying to be athletic - we are here to have fun, socialize, and make friends. Perhaps grab a bite after if we feel like it.

Note, since meetup charges me money to host this group, I pass the fees to members. Thus it costs 20 dollars per year for each of you. The price has recently increased ( to 20 a year), since meetup more than doubled their fees. After two months of membership, you will be removed from the group if you haven't paid.
