What we're about
Witch School is no longer charging member fees. We offer trade/volunteer opportunities in exchange for course credit. We have scholarships available, and we offer a monthly pass.

It's like witchy scouts for grownups! Learn witchy skills together through workshops, make friends with magical peeps, and work on healing projects in our community. Like a fun supportive coven!
This group is currently for women and nonbinary peeps (no gender explanation needed, truly, but this is a space that prioritizes the healing and voices of women and enbies)
All magical paths and identities welcome. Beginners always welcome; only a few events may be labeled 'intermediate' or 'part two'
Types of events (message if you'd like to lead one in person or virtually):
- educational (tarot, astrology, herbal medicine, energy healing, queer magic)
- rituals and circles (moon circle, healing circles, nature mandalas)
- mutual aid projects (meals for free fridges, volunteer together, pick up trash)
- social! (tea parties, book club, seasonal outings, nature walks)
- magical kid events
- DIY & art magic / crafting hang-outs / tutorials
Kids welcome at many events - message in advance so we can set up (free at adult events.)
Teens 12-19 years old may attend most events for free.
Ill Witches events (virtual events led by our disabled and chronically ill magical members) are free/suggested donation. If you're employed, please consider tipping (it's a lot of work!)
Portlanders: If you spend $25 in one month, you earn a Witch School Student Pass (like a bus pass) and can attend as many of Novie's courses as you'd like for 5 weeks.
May will be nature magic/green witchcraft themed, embracing the blooms & flowers. June we'll be looking at identity magic and queer magic for pride month. July is mermaid month, and we'll attend the mermaid parade together.
