Beltane Celebration: JOY and Connection

Let’s CELEBRATE together! It’s time to remember our beautiful, juicy, joyful selves.

May marks the beginning of summer, and we’re ready for it 🌻After many cold, dark and wet months, what better way to remember the joyful things in life than to dance?

During this Beltane evening we’re celebrating community, sisterhood and ourselves.

While Beltane is a traditionally Pagan festival, the beginning of May is celebrated all over Europe. This moment in the year marks the return of the Sun in its full glory – with all its warmth & light. Can you feel yourself getting ready to move again? To feel that tingle under your skin, the joy that comes with warm summer nights, music, love and shared food?

We’ll move & dance together to a curated playlist – simply for the fun of it (no dance experience required!). There is so much hidden joy in shaking and moving: allowing yourself to be free, to let go of expectations, to be just an expression of yourself in this moment.

To end the evening, we’ll sit in meditation and you are invited to write a little love letter to yourself.
This event is open to women of all ages and with all bodies – whether dance is your passion or you never move when someone else is watching. (Then this is especially for you! 💙)

Come dressed as witchy or glamorous as you like, in Beltane colors (red, pink, white) and so that you feel comfortable moving your body. There will be delicious (vegan/gluten-free) treats to awaken the senses (really, no party without something luxurious to snack)!

Invite your curious girlfriend, bring your sister, mother, neighbor – we’ll make a party of it!

The Beltane Celebration takes place at beautiful Studio OM in Leiden.
