How the FBI Protects America

Details

October is Cybersecurity Awareness Month!

Register here to join Women in Technology of the Heartland for a powerful session with Eugene Kowel, Special Agent in Charge of the FBI’s Omaha Field Office, as he takes us inside The Threat Landscape and How the FBI Protects America.

Mr. Kowel will share real-world cases, how cyberattacks unfold, and ways organizations can partner with the FBI. He’ll also cover best practices and emerging trends every professional should know in today’s fast-changing digital world.

About our speaker:

Mr. Kowel oversees all FBI operations across Nebraska and Iowa, including national security, criminal, and cyber investigations. Since joining the FBI in 2005, his career has spanned counterterrorism, organized crime, cyber, and national security leadership roles in New York, Los Angeles, Washington, D.C., and overseas deployments. He currently also serves as an adjunct professor at Creighton University School of Law.

Don’t miss this rare opportunity to hear directly from the FBI about how they are working to protect America, and what you can do to strengthen your own cybersecurity posture.
