Alapaha River-Rivers Alive Cleanup

Details

Come help clean up along the river and get a Rivers Alive T-shirt! Rivers Alive is Georgia’s annual volunteer waterway cleanup event that targets all waterways in the state, including streams, rivers, lakes, beaches, and wetlands. The mission of Rivers Alive is to create awareness of and involvement in the preservation of Georgia’s water resources. Rivers Alive is held annually each fall and is a program of the Georgia Environmental Protection Division Outreach Program.
Come to Berrien Beach Boat Ramp with gloves and trash pickers if you have them. No boat required, but those of us who bring one will also float across to Berrien Beach itself and clean up there also.
We recommend you support the work of WWALS by becoming a WWALS member today! https://wwals.net/donations
