Withlacoochee River Boomerang Paddle Race

Canoes, kayaks, and paddle boards are welcome to register starting at 9 AM., the race begins at 10:45. Paddle three miles down the Withlacoochee River from Georgia into Florida and back upstream. Shorter courses are available at 2 miles or 1 mile downstream, so that’s 6, 4, or 2 miles roundtrip. You don’t even have to race; you can just come and paddle with us. There will be prizes awarded, food and drink.
VSU CORE Outdoors and new Outfitter Madison Outpost Adventures once again will be offering canoes and kayaks for free. So your registration includes free boat rental if you don’t have anything to paddle. Just let us know what you need so we can match you up.
