Full Cold Moon & Sunset Paddle

Details

Join us for a leisurely Sunset and Full Moon Paddle. Gather 4 PM, launch 4:30 PM, moonrise 5:14 PM, sunset 5:37 PM, end 6:30 PM.
Safety: Be on time so we can launch on time. If you miss the safety briefing, you cannot paddle with us. Each person in a boat, no matter how young or old, must wear a PFD. You must have a light for your boat or some type of light to have on yourself (glow sticks work well, or head lamp, flashlight, etc.) so other boaters can see you in the dark. It will be totally dark after sunset.
And please do not shine bright white lights in people’s eyes. Full dark adaptation can take more than 20 minutes, and a bright light can ruin it in seconds. A whistle is not required, but it’s a good idea in the dark.
Boats: Bring your own if you have it. Thanks to Lanier County and Banks Lake Outdoors for free boat rental for these WWALS Full Moon Paddles.
