Ichetucknee Polar Plunge and Paddle

Details

Come take a plunge in the Ichetucknee headspring swimming area and then join us for a leisurely paddle 4 miles downstream in crystal clear waters with the possibility of seeing manatee, several types of gar, and bird species. The launching spot has been recently upgraded to accommodate new ADA standards. There is a possibility of a further paddle down to the Ichetucknee-Santa Fe River Confluence, otherwise takeout will be at the South Entrance. Be prepared to help with shuttling vehicles and paddlers, if needed.
Remember: Coolers, floating coolers, food and disposable containers are prohibited on the river. (no disposable plastic water bottles, etc.)
This WWALS outing is the same date, time, and place as the entirely separate Iche Nippy Dip Day, which is organized by Friends of Ichetucknee Springs State Park and the park.
