Alapaha River Paddle - Mayday to Statenville

Joins us for 14.55 miles down the Alapaha River. Depending on water levels there could be some easy shoals but this paddle is appropriate for everyone. Everyone must wear a PFD on the river.
GPS coordinates are correct but Meetup does not recognize an address for this launch site, use this link for better information about how to locate the put in site, shuttle begins at 8:30: Mayday Landing . This landing has deep sand, use caution when driving in, our takeout at Statenville is paved.
When: Gather 8 AM, Shuttle 8:30 AM, launch 9 AM, end 4 PM
Take Out: Statenville Ramp
Paddle: 14.55 miles, 6 hours
Shuttle: 10.2 miles each way, 30 minutes
