Withlacoochee River Chainsaw Cleanup #3

Details
Join us between the Little River Confluence and GA 133 on the Withlacoochee River to help clear deadfall and collect trash. This will help make the river safer, cleaner and more fun for everyone to enjoy.
Put In & Take Out: Troupville Boat Ramp
Boats: We will be using the WWALS jon boat with the 9.9hp outboard and the 24-inch Husqvarna Rancher chainsaw, plus other saws, electric and gas. If you have a jon boat with outboard and can bring it, please do.
Kayaks and canoes are welcome to paddle along. You can also walk along the Withlacoochee River right bank in the park.
Bring: the usual personal flotation device, boat, paddles, food, drinking water, warm clothes, and first aid kit. Also trash pickers and trash bags: every WWALS outing is also a cleanup.
If you have a chainsaw and know how to use it, bring it along.
Or a sawzall or handsaw, which is especially good for small underwater limbs. But you do not have to use a saw: you can pick up trash, or photograph, or just paddle along and enjoy the river.
Safety: Be on time. If you miss the safety briefing, you cannot paddle with us. Each person in a boat, no matter how young or old, must wear a PFD.
Free: This outing is free to everyone, because it is a cleanup.
You can help with clean, swimmable, fishable, drinkable, water in the 10,000-square-mile Suwannee River Basin in Florida and Georgia by becoming a WWALS member today!
