Witney Speakers Toastmasters Club Meeting

Witney Speakers Club are very happy to be meeting for our first half of Table Topics only on this evening in the fabulous Corn Exchange, in the Market Square, Witney, OX28 6AB and then, instead of having the usual refreshments and a break and moving on to three prepared speeches we are having our Christmas social at The Part and Parcel across the road. Members and guests can purchase their own food and/or drinks there and socialise.

We love having guests come and join us, to find out how as a member you could reap all the benefits of Toastmasters membership- for example, impromptu speaking, presenting, evaluations, and many more.

We meet on twice a month, on the first and third Wednesday evenings, at 7.00 pm to meet, greet and chat. We'll start the meeting itself at 7.15 pm, and you can normally sit back, and see and hear how the meeting structure unfolds, and how the Toastmasters education program can be tailored to your own objectives and needs. There will normally be all the usual elements of a Toastmasters meeting, with prepared speeches with evaluations; and a section where we work on impromptu skills- perfect for job interviews, elevator pitches or just social situations- and for video conferencing. And normally there will be a break, with some refreshments.

So, please be advised that on this date, it will not be our regular meeting format, we will only meet at the Corn Exchange for the first half where we will do table topics and will then go to the Part and Parcel across the road for our Christmas Social but anyone interested is still very welcome to come to the meeting and then to the social afterwards.

We will resume our regular meeting format in January.

Just bring your open ears and a willingness to participate, if you wish, in a safe and encouraging environment at the first half of this meeting or at a future 'regular' meeting. There is no obligation to speak if you'd rather not, once you have introduced yourself!
