Witney Speakers Toastmasters Club Meeting

The Witney Speakers Club meeting this week will be in the Green Room at The Fleece, 11, Church Green, Witney, OX28 4 AZ. We'll also be having our short AGM, where we look at what we've achieved this year, and elect the new Committee for the upcoming TM year which begins on July 1st.

We love having guests come and join us, to find out how as a member you could reap all the benefits of Toastmasters membership- for example, impromptu speaking, presenting, evaluations, and many more.

We meet twice a month, on the first and third Wednesday evenings, at 7.00 pm to meet, greet and chat. We'll start the meeting itself at 7.15 pm, and you can sit back, and see and hear how the meeting structure unfolds, and how the Toastmasters education program can be tailored to your own objectives and needs.
There will be the usual elements of a Toastmasters meeting, with prepared speeches with evaluations. Because of the AGM, there won't be the usual section where we work on impromptu skills- (perfect for job interviews, elevator pitches or just social situations- and for video conferencing!); but that will be back for the next meeting on May 21st. There will be a break, with the bar available for refreshments.
Bring your open ears and a willingness to participate, if you wish, in a safe and encouraging environment. There is no obligation to speak if you'd rather not, once you have introduced yourself!
