We are excited to invite you to a new WITs Who Lunch session with Vitalija Bartusevičiūtė and Michelle Evjen Halvorsen on the topic: A practical guide to the Databricks analytics experience!
Vitalija Bartusevičiūtė is a PhD candidate at the University of Bergen in Evolutionary Ecology and a Senior Data Engineer at Capgemini. She has been recognized as a Databricks MVP and as one of the Top 50 Women in Tech in Norway (2026). She is actively engaged in local data communities, organizing Data Saturday Oslo and the Databricks Oslo User Group, and is an active member of many Women in Tech groups. In this session, Vitalija and Michelle take a tour through the user-facing side of Databricks; the analytics and consumption tools that sit on top of the Lakehouse. From the SQL editor and Unity Catalog to AI/BI dashboards, Genie, and Databricks One, the talk covers how these tools fit together and how the platform has evolved to serve everyone from data engineers to business users. A practical and honest look at where Databricks stands today as an end-to-end analytics platform.
📍 Join us for this in-person event at Enora, who is generously hosting this session and creating space for us to connect and learn.
🕔 The talk will start at 17.15 and last approximately 45 minutes, followed by food and drinks generously provided by Enora and an informal networking session.
Open to all women in tech or curious about tech at every stage of your career.
Let’s connect, learn, and grow together! 💜
