About the speakers

Ady Wiernik is Wix’s Head of IP, managing patents, trademarks, and intellectual property related litigation. He founded, co-founded, and was involved with numerous software startups and larger companies. These were in areas such as software creation tools, high-frequency trading, browser technology, and military UAV avionics software. Ady holds a B.Sc. and M.Sc. in computer science.

Ilan Paleiov is the inventions manager in Wix. He is also a software developer with entrepreneurial experience. He has held leadership roles, managing projects in finance, education and other domains. Ilan served as CEO of a diagnostics company, and holds an MBA and, a BSc in Mathematics, Computer Science, and Music and has several U.S. patents.

Stasys Drazdauskas is a counsel at the law firm Sorainen. As head of the firm’s Technology, Media & Telecommunications team in Lithuania, his main areas of expertise include information technology law, intellectual property, and data protection. His experience also enables him to serve as an arbitrator in commercial disputes.
