Welcome to the Wizards Game Room, Cape Town’s home for board gaming and tabletop fun, located inside the Cape Town Science Centre in Observatory.
Proud host of the Chris Legg collection of board games, including games from the original Wizards Books & Games store after it closed. His full library lives on here, including many rare and hard-to-find titles that you can only play in the Game Room.
Whether you’re a casual player or a seasoned strategist, you’ll find a welcoming community and something new to explore every visit.

🚗 Parking and Entrance
- Free parking in the Science Centre lot
- Use the right-hand gate; the left one is usually locked
- The main entrance door may look closed, but it’s open — give it a try
- Go up one floor and find us in the Games Room on the left
