Enterprise Architecture in the Cloud

Details
Come along to the next Enterprise Architect User Group, where Martin Ehrenstein will walk you through cloud based architecture and architecture patterns. He will explain why working in the cloud is beneficial, but also share some limitations around the security arrangements and firewalls. Martin will show you some of his favourite architecture patterns and provide a 'how to' on using these patterns to simplify your architecture.

Martin started his ICT career crashing the operator console on an IBM mainframe. He arrived in New Zealand to do his undergraduate study at Auckland university, but instead of returning to Germany, went on to Victoria University for further computer science degrees. Since then Martin held architect roles with companies including IBM where he worked in telecommunications and finance domains. Recently he has been involved with a number of start-up companies practising lean architecture.
Drinks and nibbles will be provided at the conclusion of the presentation - we look forward to seeing you there!
