A fantastic walk to kick off your weekend @ John Forrest National Park!
This hike starts at the Swan View historic station and traverses the National Park Falls track, Jane Brook track, Eagle View track, Noolbenger track, Wildflower track & Christmas Tree Ck track displaying the diversity of John Forrest NP. Expect to see the Heritage train line track, railway tunnel, Jane Brook, JFNP tavern ruins, Eagle View Lookout and 2 waterfalls.
With luck there might be water cascading over the falls, wildflowers to see in spring, beautiful forest, plentiful bird, kangaroos and other fauna to see.

Difficulty: At 15 km and elevation gain of 401m this hike has a lot of variations from the relatively flat heritage trails to a few decent hills and of course the lookout. We experience a long fairly easy uphill followed by a shorter downhill section. A good walking pace of just over 5 km/h for almost 4 hours. If you’re not a regular walker this is not the walk for you.
Where: Meet in the lower car park. Click on the map and find the exact starting point.
Toilets & water: At the old JF tavern (4.1km).
AllTrails Route: John Forrest NP loop via NP Falls, Jane Brook, Eagle View, Wildflower tracks (15km)
What to take: 1.5L water, hat, torch, good hiking shoes, poles would be nice and spray jacket/umbrella if its wet
Lunch & Coffee afterwards: Stay for a chat, bite to eat and a coffee at the Pa's Patisserie, after 4 hours of walking you deserve it! They have wonderful pastries.

RSVP - no shows & late arrivals: If you are on the "Going" list and can't make it on the day please RSVP "Not Going" at the earliest convenience as a courtesy so as to allow others to join who might be on the "Waitlist".
We aim to set-off for each walk at the advertised time and as a general rule, we set off on-time for each walk.
