Many of you know how much I love the full moon 🌝 Weather permitting, come and join me on Sat 3 Jan, hoping for clear skies 🤞
MEETING POINT
Meet near the Coode St Jetty beside the Boatshed Restaurant, Coode St, South Perth, for 5.45pm start.
WALK (7.5 kms)
Starting from the Boatshed in South Perth this walk follows the Swan River to Heirisson Island's kangaroo enclosure crossing the Swan via Boorloo Bridge. We should complete this walk just as the sun sets over the Swan River and as the city lights begin to dominate our cityscape, followed by the Moonrise 🌝

PICNIC (or Food Vans)
Bring a picnic or take advantage of the StrEATS food vans located in South Perth with a diverse selection of lovely foods along with music.
WHAT TO BRING
Water, mosquito repellent, picnic & drinks, camping chair/picnic rug, maybe a jumper.
PARKING
Plenty of free parking (gold coin donation) on the Sir James Mitchell Park oval (entrance off Coode St) and nearby.
TOILETS
Near the Boatshed Restaurant at the MeetUp point.
