WNC Longevity Meetup: Building Brain-Healthy Habits
What does the evidence actually say about reducing the risk of Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias?
How do you actively protect your brain across the lifespan?
Join the WNC Longevity Meetup, in partnership with the Alzheimer’s Association (Western Carolina Chapter) and Asheville Institute for Memory and Longevity (avlml.org) for an interactive session on brain aging, risk reduction, and long-term cognitive resilience.
Participants will complete a structured personal inventory to evaluate daily routines, examine the brain–heart connection, and develop a personalized action plan built around research-supported brain-healthy habits.
The focus is translating research into measurable behavioral change.
Thursday, March 19 | 3:00–4:00 p.m.
Learning Lab, Henderson County Public Library
