All around Lightwater (5.6m / 9km)

A really varied walk, first across heathland towards New England, then along a short length of the new Pirbright Military Heritage Trail - it goes around the Danger Area marked on the OS map - before the unusually steep climb (most of the ascent on the walk) to the viewpoint on High Curley hill for a well-earned chance to regain your breath and enjoy good views as far as the City of London on a clear day, followed by a much more gradual descent across the lowland heath of Lightwater Country Park to its lakes, and finally through Windlesham Arboretum and the valley of the Windle Brook.
