This first meeting of Woland Literary Salon (Prahran) is informal by design.
There is no assigned reading and no expectation of coherence.
Come if you have a writer you carry around with you, a book you defend irrationally, a short story you wish more people had read, or an idea that never quite finds the right ears.
You might talk about why Kundera still matters, why Carver breaks something open, why a single paragraph of Joyce has followed you for years — or why a book failed you in an interesting way.
You don’t need to be logical. You don’t need to persuade anyone. You only need to care.
This is a conversation for people who read not to agree, but to recognize something in themselves.
We listen. We speak. We let things remain unfinished.
