We work with a wide variety of technologies. In fact, teams choose the tech they use. We provide a good baseline for scalability and robustness. The most common technologies are Python, Kotlin, Scala, React, Typescript, and Swift, though we have a bit of Rust, Golang and C++ hidden in the service. We run everything on AWS, with Kubernetes and a long list of infrastructure automation and various databases (like Mongo and Postgres) to boot.
We are very big on building world-class products with great engineering. We actively refactor and rebuild core components to meet the demands of our wildly growing business. We love data and have a near real-time view of everything happening in our business and with our customers đź’™

Every mature codebase has its own legacy; ours was a fully custom UI framework that once solved everything from navigation to state management. This session goes through the journey of dismantling this bespoke system in favor of modern practices and components. Explore the strategic decisions behind the migration, the unexpected challenges of interoperability, and the practical lessons learned during a large codebase evolution.
Talk 3: From Pixels to People: Lessons in Mobile Accessibility Development - with Eric Pintos, Software Engineer at Wolt
Accessibility in mobile development isn’t just a nice-to-have — it’s a core engineering responsibility. In this talk, we’ll dive into the developer’s perspective on accessibility, covering real-world techniques for implementing features like screen reader support, scalable text, and keyboard navigation. We’ll discuss common pitfalls, debugging strategies, and tips to integrate accessibility into your development workflow.
