About the speakers: Olga is currently living in Sweden, originally from Russia. She participated in development and supported various Android apps for several major companies such as Tinkoff Bank, Revel Systems.
Olga fell in love with Android 6 years ago, she loves writing elegant and concise code using Kotlin, prefers default colour scheme with white background in Android Studio.
Abstract:
The best practice will be shared about how to create custom view based on Truecaller experience. It will be shown real cases where creation of custom view is reasonable and how to avoid cases when maintenance could be painful and expensive. The goal of presentation is find out an answer to the question: Is custom view our friend or enemy?
