Picnic & Nature Walk (Sandy Springs)

Let's have a picnic lunch in the park, then do a short nature walk. The trail is very short so we might even want to walk the loop twice.

Morgan Falls Overlook Trail

• Trail: 0.8 miles total (loop)
• Meeting spot: 12:00pm at the parking lot
• What to bring: athletic/hiking attire, water, sun protection (hat, sunglasses, sunscreen), bug spray, small bag or day pack if needed.

This meetup event is weather-dependent. Event changes due to weather will be communicated in the event comments. All attendees are responsible for their own attire and bringing their own water. Footwear-wise, durable athletic shoes are encouraged, hiking boots optional for moderate hikes, no shoes without a back. Service is sometimes spotty depending on where we hike, so a host can provide their cell number to the attendees the day before a hike in case people need to reach us outside the app. Happy hiking!
