Hike Jones Mountain!

Join us to hike the 2.5 mile Vista Trail loop on Jones Mountain Preserve, situated above New Hartford, with a great view from the summit overlooking the village and the Farmington River. There's one section of trail at the beginning that is at a steeper incline (we can take it slowly), but the remainder is an easy walk on old roadways up on the ridge. A lovely historic area!
Since parking at the trail head is limited, please meet at the Park & Ride in New Hartford Center: At the intersection of Route 219 and Central Avenue, across from the library and behind the Catholic Church. We will carpool to drive the mile up the road to the trail.
Meet at 8:45, we'll leave parking lot by 9 am.
