We’re heading to Sessions Woods for this week’s hike, one of those places that just feels good the minute you get there. The trails are wide, well-maintained, and easy to follow, with solid footing the whole way. There’s a little bit of elevation to keep it interesting, but nothing too challenging, just enough to get your heart rate up a bit.
Along the way, there are a couple of side trails worth taking if you’re up for it, one leads to a small waterfall, and another to a fire tower with a great view. We’ll keep it flexible depending on the group.
Plan to bring bug spray and a drink. Parking is at Sessions Woods Wildlife Management Area in Burlington, and we’ll meet near the main lot.
It’s an easy, social hike with just enough variety to make it fun. Hope you’ll join us.
