Women Built was created as an in-person space for women & gender non-conforming folks who are curious to learn about AI, technology, and the future — whether you’re brand new, career-switching, already working in tech, or simply exploring what’s possible.
Our goal is simple:
✨ Learn together
✨ Build confidence with tech & AI
✨ Share & build new opportunities
✨ Support each other in real life, face-to-face
You don’t need any technical background to belong here — just curiosity and an openness to grow & learn something new. We’ll be hosting regular meetups with hands-on learning, discussion, and community connection.
What to Expect:
This group is open to all adult women & gnc from 18+. We host our group out of Mana Contemporary, an artist residency studio. The leader of the group is: Devina Mauria-Dhawan, a nurturing mother, engineer, artist, and philathropist in Chicago.
Please be your most engaging self in this group, we are new and the spark of curisoity has been lit. Introduce yourself, come as you are, and let’s build the future together. Safety for our gatherings is extremly important to us, if at any point anyone makes you feel uncomfortable - contact the organizer immediately.

6:30 - 7:30pm - Work on our portfolio projects, class on publishing our projects to the internet.
7:30-8:15pm - Discuss, document, build, and collaborate on your worksheet projectSuggested $10-$15 at the door for teachers.
Please bring a laptop and any snacks/drinks/plates to share! This is an informal group. Introduce yourself, come as you are, and let’s build the future together. Let me know if you need a laptop.
