Free Absolute Beginners Chess Lesson for Women ONLINE

Join us for a free (donations welcome), friendly lesson for absolute beginners to chess, for women (this lesson is women-only - we run separate, mixed-gender courses). Learn how the pieces move - we assume you know nothing. The lesson will take place on Zoom (free to download and use).

After the lesson, there's a hang out at www.lichess.org for you to play other beginners. It's free to create an account, and there's no spam etc. Once you have a lichess account please request to join our group here - https://lichess.org/team/the-queens-gambit-women-beginners IMPORTANT: please give your name as it is here on Meetup, in the join request.

Set up should take five minutes, and there are regular chess hangouts there. :)

The lesson will last 30 minutes, so please arrive on time. Thanks. :) Then we'll move to lichess to play some practice games there, for as long or short a time as you like.
