From identifying fraud to forecasting consumer behaviour, machine learning has changed the way we tackle challenging issues. However, at the core of every successful machine learning model lies a set of essential statistical concepts. This session will explore the importance of having a solid understanding of statistics before diving into machine learning.

We will discuss key concepts like probability theory, regression analysis, and model evaluation metrics, which play an essential role in developing effective machine-learning solutions.
By the end of this session, participants will have a better understanding of how statistical knowledge may enhance their machine-learning abilities, resulting in more precise models and improved decision-making.
