Consulting is a field we receive countless questions about, and for good reason! It’s dynamic, impactful, and offers incredible opportunities for growth and innovation. To provide our community with insights and guidance, we’ve invited amazing panelists from Deloitte, one of the world’s leading consulting firms, to share their expertise.

Stan Mineva | LinkedIn
Stan is a Director within Deloitte’s Mergers & Acquisitions team and has been in the consulting industry for 12+ years. Stan has an international background and will talk about living through a period of change, adapting your style and building resilience and how this plays into becoming a successful consultant. Outside of work Stan has a 4-year old boy and enjoys hiking and going on long walks with the family.

Monika Berlot | LinkedIn
Monika is an Assistant Director in the Deloitte Strategy & Transactions focusing on Mergers and Acquisitions. She has extensive experience in Management Consulting having started her career in Operations Consulting, then shifting into M&A Consulting. She has worked with clients across multiple geographies including the United Kingdom, France, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa and has recently moved from Melbourne, Australia to London, UK. Outside of work, she is passionate about gender equality, diversity and inclusion.

Lize Pieters | LinkedIn
Lize is a manager within Deloitte's Mergers & Acquisitions technology team, joined Deloitte South Africa in 2019, and has been in consulting and M&A ever since. Lize leads the Deloitte Stammer Community, and is ambitious about raising awareness for disabilities in corporate, as well as women in tech. Outside of work Lize enjoys baking, music, and long-distance running with her husband.

Shonal Tankaria | LinkedIn
Shonal is a Director within Deloitte’s Mergers & Acquisitions team. Shonal has worked on 100+ deals across the transaction lifecycle, from pre-deal technology due diligence to post-deal integrations and separations. Shonal currently focuses on cross-border/complex M&A supporting CxO and Integration/Separation Director(s). Shonal is a film/series enthusiast, drawn to documentaries and international cinema.

Julia is a Lead Risk Management Specialist at Swift for Product and Strategy with almost ten years of experience in Information Security, IT and Technology. Over the years she worked in numerous financial service organisations where she defined and delivered privacy and data programmes, cyber security and data strategies, policy frameworks and assisted organisations in governing IT risks and controls. She is dedicated to guiding businesses in delivering proportionate and risk aware IT response in line with business goals, compliance requirements and regulations. She is also a Director at Women Coding Community and is passionate about giving back to community and empowering women to excel in technology careers.

As Engineering Manager at Elliptic, Madhura focuses on building high-performing teams, driving timely deliveries, and optimising processes to achieve greater efficiency and impact. With over two decades of software development experience and a passion for innovation and sustainable technology, she has delivered complex projects while embracing emerging technologies and industry trends. Outside of work, she is Lead and Mentorship Programme Coordinator at Women Coding Community, where she actively supports women in advancing their tech careers, creating a more inclusive and equitable tech community.
