Do you still doubt yourself despite being established in your career and life?
Are you afraid that people will find out that you are not as good as they think you are?
Do you skip opportunities (projects, jobs, promotions, your business) because you feel like you aren't capable?
Do you try to convince yourself that "it's ok," but the feeling of doubt and anxiety is not going away?
If your answer to any of these is yes, you are not alone. As many as 70% of people admit to feeling like an impostor at some stage in their life.
The real question is: do you want to change that?
Yes? Then join us at the workshop to start your journey to healthy self-esteem and confidence.
This session will help you to
- Understand what impostor syndrome is and is not
- Learn what are the typical causes and how to recognise them in yourself to deal with them in time
- Learn the ways to help yourself and others to overcome it effectively
We will cover the impostor syndrome (or phenomenon): when established professionals have a strong inner voice that acts like a critic using some or all of these lines:
- I'm a fraud. It's only a matter of time until they figure out
- I don't belong here
- I'm only successful because I was extremely lucky
- If I can do it, anyone can
- I had a lot of help - it was a team effort
- They are just being nice/polite
- Failure is not an option
- Another achievement is done. What's next?
The phenomenon can vary in intensity and can, in extreme cases, become debilitating, manifesting in symptoms related to depression, anxiety, and extremely low self-esteem.
The session won't be just a lecture.
It's an experiential workshop designed to help YOU.
It is the start of YOUR journey to tame your inner impostor.
So bring your pen and paper, your courage and curiosity, and be ready to participate.
Warmly, Lena.
