The tech hiring space has become incredibly noisy making it harder for developers to navigate their careers with confidence. When's the best time to move? What perks should I care about? How are devs like me thinking about their careers? In this presentation, Melishia Ebersohn will share some guidance on how developers can be intentional about their careers in 2023. She will cut through the noise with practical tips to think about when planning your career, how to stand out with hiring managers, and navigating remote interviews.

After completing her BCom in Industrial Psychology and Labour Relations Management, Melishia started her career at a niche recruitment agency specialising in finance where she worked for 3 years. Her passion for candidate experience and success in the job search process attracted her to the Tech Talent Advisor role at OfferZen. She is passionate about helping candidates feel confident and prepared for interviews, and coming up with strategies to fight job search fatigue.
