SAVE THE DATE: WeWiN Clothing & BOOK Swap AND Explore Pease Park!
Details
Who doesn’t love free clothes and books? Who doesn’t love helping the environment?
Please join us in cleaning out our closets and bringing clothing, shoes, accessories, and/or BOOKS that is in good condition and no longer brings us JOY to pass on to our WeWin community!
Everyone is welcome and if possible, we invite participants to donate 3+ items if you are planning on taking items home with you. At the end of the event, all leftover items will be donated to the Safe Alliance.
After dropping by and swapping clothes, we will encourage our WeWiN community to check out the recently renovated portion of Pease Park called Kinsgsbury Commons. Pease Park was Austin's first city park, an 84 acre urban forest on sacred ground that was once home to the Lipan Apache, Tonkawa, and Comanche Nations.
Bring a bag to take home your haul and water, sunscreen, etc. if you are checking out the park.
** Well behaved and leashed dogs are welcome at this event. **
