WeWiN Full Moon Circle: Celebrate a New Year with Time Capsule Crafting!

Celebrate the first Full Moon of the Year by building meaningful time capsules that captures some of your favorite and most impactful memories from the year prior.

For this Full Moon, we are going to be remembering and honoring the past year in all it's messy glory. Together, we’ll create personal time capsules filled with memories, reflections, and meaningful keepsakes to be opened by ourselves in the future. Add pictures, trinkets, notes to your future self, and stories to share about what 2025 meant for you. Please bring your own supplies if you are able, including a container/jar as your time capsule. Jessica will have some extra supplies and time capsules but not enough for the whole group.

• We will meet at a large table inside at Casa de Luz EAST (NOT the Casa location on Toomey) at 6:00pm. Please arrive early allow time for parking.
• This gathering will include crafting our time capsules and sharing some of our favorite (or not-so-favorite) memories from the past year

THINGS TO BRING:

• Money for dinner, snacks or beverages at Casa de Luz EAST (optional)
• Container for time capsule (jar, clean plastic food containers, empty paint cans, etc.) - bring capsule pre-painted if you would like. We will not be able to paint our time capsules at the restaurant
• Printed pictures from 2025
• Paper & pen to write a note/letter to your future self
• Trinkets/keepsakes from the year before (concert tickets, sea-shells from a beach, etc.)

PLEASE LEAVE YOUR FUR BABIES HOME FOR THIS EVENT!

ABOUT YOUR EVENT HOST:

Jessica has been a member of WeWiN for over four years. This group has expanded her connection with nature and her fellow sisters. In her free time, Jessica loves to explore the beauty and wonders of the Austin metroplex. She also treasures time spent with her friends, family, and fur babies. With a degree in microbiology, Jessica is passionate about studying and conserving the delicate balance of life, from towering trees to microscopic organisms!
