About the park: San Bruno Mountain State and County park is home to rare and endangered species of flora, fauna, and wildlife. The park offers panoramic views to the Pacific Ocean as well as over the central bay area.
The hike is moderate, with a gradual long uphill climb and some overgrown and rocky bits near the summit. Please wear long pants and proper hiking shoes (if you are not comfortable walking on rocky surfaces).

MEETING SPOT: We will meet at 10am at the main parking lot

KNOW BEFORE YOU GO:

  1. There is a $6 fee for parking
  2. The hike is NOT dog friendly
  3. Please arrive early. We start the hike at 9:45 am. If you are running late please follow the trail map to catch up as there is limited reception on the mountain
  4. The mountain top can get cool and windy so please remember to bring a jacket
  5. Don’t forget your sunscreen, reusable water bottle, and a hat.
  6. Make sure to hydrate the day before the event and eat breakfast in the morning.
  7. Wear comfortable waterproof hiking shoes or sneaker (making sure they're already broken in is key!).
  8. Due to the limited capacity of this event, please only sign up if you are sure to attend.
  9. Due to the risks of COVID-19, please stay home if you have any symptoms, or have recently been exposed to anyone who has contracted the virus.
